The Spokesperson of the Coalition to restore Legitimacy in Yemen has said that the forces reviewed and rejects allegations by some media outlets that one of the houses in the area of Mahdah, south-west Saada province, was targeted killing women, children, and injuring others.

Colonel Turki al-Malki confirmed that the joint command has finished after-action review for operations conducted last week and reviewed all operational tasks that were conducted in Saada province, proving that there is no evidence on the false allegation, as stated by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Al-Malki said the coalition forces received with regret the statements of the office of the Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen, which were based on personal judgements rather than a purely credible and systematic investigation.

The statements were seemingly issued upon unconfirmed field reports which could have been more accurate if they had patience and evidence.

The spokesman added further that the joint forces command of the coalition is looking into its available means, as well as coordinating with the legitimate government of Yemen, its international partners and friends to share information on this unfortunate incident.

Col Turki expressed his deep regret for the occurrence of civilian casualties among Yemeni people because of the hostile acts committed by Houthi militias through pointless and intentional attacks against innocents.

He also regretted the Houthis use of civilian homes and civilian objects to hide all forms of weapons, which is a flagrant violation of the international law.

Col Turki commanded the humanitarian organizations, the media outlets to be careful and accurate, for not blaming the coalition forces without accurate information, data and the results of a final investigation, according to SPA.
