Hadi expressed his delight by the meeting which aims to boost the UN support for Yemen to overcome its challenges and curb the bring to a halt the Saleh-Houthi militias which continue to this moment in killing children and civilians in Taiz and other cities.
“We will always remain preachers of peace and seek to achieve peace out of our sense of responsibility toward the whole Yemeni people,” said Hadi. He said he is committed to deliver humanitarian aid to all Yemenis in all regions including the militia-controlled regions.
Hadi renewed acceptance of the UN Envoy Ismail Ould Cheikh’s proposals concerning Hodeidah Red Sea port and city saying the government is positively reacting to all peace initiatives.
