Four Houthi-Saleh militia rebels were killed and others injured on Tuesday during heavy battles with the national army forces in Hefan district southeast Taiz governorate.

Military sources told September Net that the heavy battles erupted after the army foiled the militias infiltration toward the former positions in Al-Hamra and Al-Khasan hills of Al-Ahkoom area in the district.

The sources added that the militia left its four dead bodies scattered in the battlefield and fled back.

It’s worthy-noted that the coup militias intensified its failed attempts aiming to achieve ground progress in the city’s rural fronts, where the residential houses of the villagers are under the daily artillery shelling of the militia.
