Al-Jawf, forces recapture key mountain, coalition jets destroy militia equipment

National Army forces, on Friday retook control over “Al-Qaetah” mountain, a strategically key mountain located within the Ham mountain of range, in Al-Jawf province, north-eastern the country.

Field sources told September Net that the army engaged, in the early hours of Friday, in violent confrontations with the putschists Houthi militia at the Ham mountains, in al-Motoon district of Jawf, pointing out that the fighting resulted in deaths and injuries among the militias,

The Commander of 127th Infantry Brigade, Abdullah al-Dawi stated to September Net that the recaptured mountain is a very significant height site that would help the army troops in complete the liberation of mountainous series of Ham.

Meanwhile, Arab Coalition fighters launched several raids on the coup militia, destroying a patrol packed with 23-calibre gun machine killing several elements on board, in the same area.

The aircraft targeted another vehicle carrying a number of militias in Khab Alsha’af south Yatamah, killing all the six militants on board.
