National army destroyed thousand of Houthi-laid landmines in Sa’ada
The engineering teams of the army forces destroyed on Tuesday large quantities of landmines and improvised explosive devices planted earlier by Houthi coup militia in al-Buqa area and Ketaf district in the province of Sa’ada.
A source in the engineering teams said to September net, the expert teams managed to damaged about 1214 of landmines and explosive devices with different shapes and sizes planted intentionally by Houthi militias in main roads, farms and villages and pose risk to civilians’ lives.
He pointed out that the army’s experts are making sustained efforts to clear all the liberated areas from those mines, and also to ensure a secure return for civilians to their homes.
Notably, the army engineering teams removed during the past period more than ten thousands mines and explosive devices that also planted by the rebels Houthi militia in different areas of Sa’ada.
