The Saudi Project for Landmines Clearance in Yemen (MASAM) launched by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KS Relief), removed 64 anti-personnel mines, 1,430 anti-vehicle mines, 85 explosive devices, and 955 unexploded ordnance during the second week of December. This brings the total of the removed landmines to 26,609 since the launching of the project.

The mines were planted by the Houthi militia in Yemen lands, schools and houses in Yemen. They attempted to conceal them in different colors and ways, causing the death of a huge number of children, women, and elders and wounding others, as revealed by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
