Army demining teams remove Houthi-laid sea mine in Hodeidah
The engineering teams of the National Army forces removed on Friday a highly dangerous naval mine planted by Houthi militias in the coast of Hodeidah province, west of the country.
The engineering teams found the marine mine near Hodeidah coast in the district of Durayhimi, south of the city.
Military sources in the engineering teams reported that the mine was highly sensitive and explosive, as it received the signal from four directions.
Hundreds of mines planted by Houthi militias in the Red Sea and near the coast threat thousands of civilians, fishing boats and commercial and international vessels passing through the Red Sea waters in the province of Hodeidah.
