Chief of Staff heads Presidential Committee to inspect situations in Al-Mahra province
A Presidential Committee headed by Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Abdullah Al-Nakha’ee arrived Sunday in Al-Mahra province to follow up economic, military and security situations.
The Chief of Staff said, in a meeting he presided over that the Committee will visit security and military units and will submit inclusive report about the situations and needs in the province to President Abdu Rabo Mansour Hadi.
During the session that included Governor of Al-Mahra, Lt. Gen Al-Nakha’ee conveyed His Excellency President Hadi’s directives for exerting further efforts to enforce the rule of law and state, maintain stability and security and avoid the province any security problems.
The Chief of Staff said that the Presidential Committee will convene a number of meetings with the local authorities, military, security and Arab coalition commanders in Al-Mahra province.
For his part, Governor of Al-Mahra Rajeh Bakreet welcomed the Presidential Committee, reviewed the calm and stable situations in the province, underway efforts by the local authority to establish security and stability and to provide basic services to citizens, with support from the Saudi-led Arab coalition.
