Minister of Local Administration – Head of Supreme Relief Committee – Abdulraqeeb Fatah has confirmed keenness of Political Leadership on providing support and help to activities of the local authorities to boost stability and meeting people’s needs.

In a meeting on Sunday in Aden with deputies and general directors of local administration authority, the minister stressed significance of communications and coordination with local authorities in provinces and reporting on performance of the executive offices and obstacles facing them to be supported to continue their duties serving citizens.

Fatah was acquainted with the complete plan on field visits to provinces to be carried out soon in the future for supporting efforts of local authorities in the provinces of Shabwa, Mareb, Jawf, Hadhramout and Suqatra.

He also listened to field visit committee’s report on their visits to provinces of Lahj, Abyan, Dhale’, Aden and Taiz.

The meeting discussed the training plan, which has been approved within the 100-day training of local administration cadre and will be implemented with participation of the World Food Program and support of donors.
