Houthi militia causes a very difficult  living conditions in areas under its control or under its war.

Thousands of People are facing unimaginable humanitarian tragedy and the worst living situation in the world, according to international organizations.

The Houthi militia tightens its siege over those provinces. They seize state institutions and loot public money. This have exacerbated human and health status. It also forecasts an impending humanitarian disaster.

The legitimate government has been very keen along with UN agencies to find solutions or alternative ways to deliver aid relief to the Houthi-held areas.

However, Houthi rebels looted the aid assistances, seized relief convoys provided by Arab coalition states and others through UN organizations in order to relieve the people’s suffering

The Yemeni government has been calling on UN and international organizations to mount strong and serious pressure end Houthi militia’s month-long confiscation of 210 trucks carrying food and medicine and fuel for hospitals at Ibb city

Government follows with deep concern the developments of seizing 210 aid trucks operating WFP by Houthi rebels for more than one month in Ibb city, Gov’t spokesman Rajeh Badi said.

Houthi militia tries to tax international organizations by force although it is legally pardoned, Badi said.

The spokesman warns of worsening humanitarian situation and suffering of Yemeni people over the Houthi militia coup against the legitimate government.

The government views the international silence and inaction towards the militia, in such issue of delivering food, medicines and fuels for hospital, is encouraging the Houthi to persist in its crimes and exacerbating the already suffering of people.

Last week, the Houthi militia seized 20 relief trucks of the World Food Programme (WFA) in Ibb.

Minister of Local Administration, the Chairman of the Higher Committee for Relief Aid condemned in the strongest terms the Houthi seizure of 20 truckloads of aid belonging to the World Food Program bound for hospitals in Ibb province.

Saba news agency quoted the minister as saying “the recent Houthi act was a violation of the humanitarian ethic and the principles of the United Nations.”

In this regard, he called upon the UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and the UN Humanitarian Coordinator for Yemen to take an urgent act and pressure the Houthi militia to release relief aid trucks and fuel-laden locomotives .

Fatah also called on the international community to condemn and criminalize the atrocities committed by the Houthi militia.
