National army liberates new positions in Sa’ada

Army forces achieved new gains in Sa’ada province on Friday.

The 63rd Infantry Brigade Commander said the national army forces launched early Friday, large-scale attack on sites held by the Houthi militia in Alab Front of Baqem district, northwest of the province.

Brigadier General Ali Murshid confirmed the liberation of three important hills, Al-Saba’a, Alkuds and Naef, as well as surrounding areas, during the offensive.

He added that the attack also killed and wounded a number of Houthi militants.

Meanwhile, the Arab coalition to support the legitimate government in Yemen, carried out several airstrikes targeting the positions and reinforcements of the Houthi militia in the same front.

The raids resulted in the destruction of a number of combat vehicles of the coup’s militia.
