Army retakes new positions in Al-Baydha
National army forces seized control over new positions on Wednesday in Qania front of Al-Baydha province.
The army forces liberated mountainous Heights separating Howran and Qania regions following clashes with the Houthi rebel militia, which fled and retreated.
The national army forces were also able to restore a number of militia-held positions that overlook Al-Yasbel in Alwahbiya area, and made further advance to Wadi Abal.
A number of Houthi militants were killed and injured and several of their combat vehicles were destroyed during the battles.
Meanwhile, Arab coalition launched airstrikes targeting sites of the rebel militia on the same front, causing human and material losses on the militia’s side.
