Taiz local authority supports army operations in the city
Taiz Undersecretary Dr. Abdulkawi Al-Mekhlafi has called for supporting the national army’s underway military operations in the city of Taiz, under a four-year-long siege laid by the Houthi militia.
In meeting included local authority of the city on Monday, Al-Mekhlafi stressed on the continuation of military operations until regaining the rest of areas under the militia and fully liberating the city of Taiz.
Al-Mekhlafi said the heroes of the national army are achieving heroic accomplishments in the fight against the Iran-backed Houthi militia.
He pointed that the militia suffers collapse and setback, thus, it resorts to plant landmines and improvised explosive devices, fearing the progress of the national army forces.
Al-Mekhlafi stressed the imperative of setting a model example in managing the state institutions and agencies in parallel with the military battle in Taiz province.
Al-Mekhlafi also stressed that priority should be given to what serves the military battle, especially in the health, media, relief, culture, service, guidance, youth and finance domains.
