Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Najeeb Al-Awaj stressed the importance of joint cooperation with the FAO in improving food security in our country, the most important element of stabilization.

He made the remarks during the inauguration of a workshop Yemen and the FAO organized on improving food security analysis and decision-making concerning the Yemeni districts suffering catastrophic degree of food insecurity.

The inauguration of the workshop was attended by 44 participants from the Secretariat of the Technical Committee for Food Security at Planning Ministry and from international and local organizations. The workshop is meant to last for three days.
