The national army forces under the command of President Hadi managed on Saturday to thwart an infiltration attempt carried out by Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia in Makbanah district western Taiz province.

The militia elements tried to infiltrate into several sites in Alyamen area of Qahban sub-district, but the army forces backed by Arab coalition thwarted the militia’s attempt and forced them to flee.

A number of Houthi militants were killed and injured during the clashes.
