Yemen’s Defense Minister
Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al-Mqdashi has followed up on the latest developments in Aden and other freed provinces.
In a telephone conversation with the commanders of the 1st, 2nd, 4th military zones and commanders of Taiz, Beihan military pivots, the Minister underscored the importance of maintaining security, stability, protecting state institutions and public interests of Yemenis.
“Military institution is vowing to its national responsibilities in protecting the revolution gains and republican system and preserving the social fabric”، he pointed out.
Al-Mqdashi indicated that the Yemeni people and Armed Forces , under the command of His Excellency President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi, are engaging in the national battle against the Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia, making great sacrifices and blood.
He emphasized the importance of keeping the achievements, victories scored by Yemenis and rejecting chaotic projects turning the tide of the battle and serving Houthi militia and terrorist groups.
The Minister voiced appreciation for the brotherly role played by Saudi-led Coalition in supporting Yemen to restore the legitimate state and facing the Iranian interferences aimed to threat the security and stability of Yemen and region.
