Army repels Houthi attack east of Hodeidah
The national army troops backed by a coalition supporting Yemeni government on Tuesday, repelled an attack by the Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia east of Hodeida.
Earlier today, large number of the Houthi militia elements attacked the army positions in the Kilo 16 area on the eastern outskirts of Hodeidah.
The army defeated the attack, and forced the militia to flee, after suffering casualties in its ranks.
The Houthi rebel militia continues to target the positions of the national army in Hodeidah province, while the army adheres to the UN truce in accordance with the orders of the political and military leadership.
