Houthi militia shells inhabited areas south of Hodeidah
The Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia on Thursday, shelled inhabited areas south of Hodeida province in western Yemen.
According to local sources, Houthi militia’s artillery shells targeted housing areas north of Al-Tahita, damaging a number of houses.
In the same context, Houthi militia’s sniper fire, targeted residential neighborhoods in Hays, south of the province, caused fear between citizens.
UN cease-fire in Hodeidah has been broken. Hothi’s artillery shelling is targeting residential areas indiscriminately, resulting in civilian casualties, including women and children, in addition to causing serious damage to the homes of citizens and property.
