SeptemberNet- At least thirty armed members of the militia were killed and others were injured on Thursday in fierce clashes between the national army and the armed rebel militia in the areas of Buran in the district of Niham east of the capital Sanaa.

The clashes erupted between the two sides after attempts of the armed militia elements to infiltrate and restore the sites lost during the previous battles,a military source told septembernet.

The forces of the national army were aware of the advance movements of the militia , which enabled them to deal with infiltrators and inflict heavy losses of life, the source said.

The attempts to infiltrate were covered by firing, but the forces of the national army was able to thwart those attempts and inflict heavy losses on the militia, the source confirmed.
