At least 70 armed members of the militia were killed over the past days in fierce clashes with the national army (NA) in Midi district in the northwestern province of Hajjah.

Source in the fifth military Zone told September Net that the clashes erupted between the two sides after attempts of the armed militia elements to restore the sites lost during the previous battles.

The source added that NA forces managed to ward off militia’s attacks and inflicted them heavy losses of life and supplies.

Meanwhile, the source denied what was mentioned by militias’ social media that rebels fired ballistic missile on the camp of Arab Coalition in Midi. In fact, it didn’t exploded, fallen in the desert and no damage or injury were reported.
