Heavy battles renewed on Thursday between National Army forces and Houthi-Saleh coup militias in Maqbanah district western Taiz governorate.

Field sources told September Net that violent clashes broke out when the militias attempted to infiltrate into the Army’s sites in Al-Barkanah area, Maqbanah district of Taiz, but were beaten by NA and forced to flee .

The source added that eight militants killed and 12 injured during the battles,while two soldiers martyred and others two injured.

In related context, heavy clashes continued between NA and militia in Yakhtel area north the coastal city of Al-Mukha.

Military Sources told September Net that NA forces managed to repulse militias’ attacks on their sites in Yakhtel.

“The militia stationed in Al-Khokhah district of Hodeidah province targeted Yakhtel area with Katyusha rockets”, the source added.

Meanwhile, Saudi-led Coalition Aircraft launched seven raids on militias’ sites and vehicles in Yakhtel area.

The sources mentioned that number of militias killed and injured in addition to destroying three patrols as a result of airstrikes in the area.

It’s noteworthy to mentioned that militia rebels launched artillery shelling on the eastern neighborhoods of Taiz which resulted in the death of three civilians.
