National Army Forces have regained control over the entire strategic mountain of Han west of Taiz city, deputy spokesman of the National Army Forces in Taiz says on Monday.

Colonel al-Bahr added that the army forces manged to recapture fully the mountain and its surrounding hills after a fierce fighting with the Houthi-Saleh militias.

Meanwhile, Chief of military Operations in the 17th Brigade, Colonel Abdu Hamood al-Saghair confirmed to September Net that the army forces have kicked out the rebels from the key mountain and inflicted them fatal losses of bodies and machines.

“The rebels attacked the mountain yesterday night sparking 15-hour-long battles, but the army strongly defeat them. They also suffered more than 30 elements deaths”, al-Saghair added.

Notably, the Han mountain is a very strategic highland in the western parts of the city ,securing the only route line through which civilians received basic food and medical supplies due to the Houthi-Saleh militias’ siege on the city for three years.
