Eight of the Houthi-Saleh militias were killed and others wounded after fierce confrontations took place with the National Army forces in Asilan district west of Shabwa governorate.

Military sources told September Net that the fighters of elite battalion carried out heavy attack against the coupists after they tried to infiltrate into NA sites in Asilan front.

Furthermore, the army fighters managed to foil the attack and force the militia to withdraw and flee after suffered heavy losses in life and supplies.
