Fierce fighting took place Wednesday between Popular Resistance fighters and Houthi-Saleh militias in al-Qurashiah district in the central province of al-Baydah.

Fighting resulted in killing a number of field leaders belonging to Houthi-Saleh militias, and wounding many others  elements, September Net correspondent in the province said.

He added that the resistance fighters carried out a sudden offensive on Wednesday targeted the positions and targets of the coup militias in al-Quron mountains in the said district, pointing out the militias suffered heavy casualties including a senior supervisor and two leaders.

The militias’ general supervisor, in charge of seven directorates of the province, called Abu Amar al-Sha’f, and the two leaders “Ali al-Ansi” and “Abu Salah al-Waeli”, were killed along with many of their companions during the resistance’ attack on their sites and crowds in the same area,  the source added.

It’s noteworthy that Houthi-Saleh militias have lost a big number of dead and wounded, including senior leaders, during deadly battles with the fighters of the resistance in al-Baydah.

The militias have, for long, also been bombing residential and populated areas in the province continually and indiscriminately, besides shooting down bedastrians and civilians by their snipers, as a response to their series of painful defeats they have inflicted during battles with the resistance, said local sources.
