Fierce fighting continued between the popular resistance (PR) backed by the national army and Houthi coup militias in Alhaimah area of Altaiziah district northern Taiz city amid intensive airstrikes by Saudi-led coalition warplanes on militias’ positions on Tuesday.

Local sources told September Net that the PR launched an attack on militias’ positions western Alhaimah area, destroying military vehicle and killing all the militiamen on board adding that a sniper of militias was killed by PR in Alhesn mountain of the same area.

In parallel, the Saudi-led Arab coalition aircraft launched airstrikes on militias’ gatherings and reinforcements in the same area, leaving a number of deaths and injuries as well as destroying two armored vehicles and 3 patrols, according to the sources.
