National Army troops in Taiz retook control of several positions from the Houthi coup militia on Thursday, southwestern the province.

Military sources told September Net that the army forces achieved new progress today, and regained control over the areas of Hob Al-Ra’ee, three hilly positions, and the intersection of Souk al- Kadah, after battles with the rebels militia.

The army troops also targeted positions and gatherings of Houthi militia with several artillery shells that hit its targets accurately, the sources said, adding the troops continued their crawling forward towards new areas.

The national military also captured two elements,retook vehicles and great deal of weapons and ammunition from the Iran-backed Houthi militia during battles.
