At least 19 elements of Houthi coup militia have been killed in fighting with National Army on Monday west of Taiz province.

Military sources told September Net that the army forces thwarted, hours ago, attack on positions after fierce confrontations with heavy and medium weapons against the coup militia in the Maqbanah district.

The military sources added that 19 insurgents militia were killed and many wounded in the thwarted attack.

National Army keeps advancing in Taiz in different areas, and has recently taken control over Alusoml, Alradmah and Alshahi hills, Al-Audein region and the Khazan hills, from the grip of Iran-backed Houthi rebels.
