VP, FM discuss arrangements for Geneva consultations

Vice President Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh and Foreign Minister Khaled Alyemany discussed in a meeting today the arrangements for peace consultations between the government and the Houthi rebels scheduled to be held in September 6 in Geneva.
Alyemany is the head of the government’s delegation to thecoming consultations.
The Vice President affirmed that the government is entering peace talks for the fourth timein good faith, giving precedence to the interest of the Yemeni people over all other considerations.
He expressed his hope that the Houthi militants will,likewise,give precedence to the interests of the Yemeni who have endured an unprecedented suffering as a result of the Houthi coup in 2014.
