Two ground leaders of Houthi coup militias were killed along with 15 others during clashes with national army forces in Makbanah district in the west of Taiz province on Sunday.

Col. Hameed Alkholedi, commander of Makbanah front, said to September Net that the Houthi militia ground leaders known as “Abu Malek” and “Abu Mahran” were killed along with other 15 elements as they tried to infiltrate into the positions of the army forces in Kahban area in Makbanah.

The army have thwarted the militia’s attempt and destroyed a number of their vehicles after fierce fighting, added col. Alkholedi.
