Houthi militias loot public, private property in Hodeida

The Houthi coupist militia has looted heavy and light equipment from the port city of Hodeida before their withdrawal from it.
The militia has been stealing food items, cars and other materials, belong to investors and local merchants, workers at the seaport confirmed.
Eyewitness also reported seeing the Houthi trucks laden with the stolen equipment heading from Hodeida towards Sana’a and Sa’ada province under their control.
Ahead of their withdrawal from the city, Houthi militia has carried out large campaign for looting the contents of different state’s revenues institutions and private corporation as well as people’s property.
This came after the Yemeni peace consultation in Sweden has resulted in an agreement between the government and the Houthi militia. The deal stipulates the Houthi withdrawal from the city of Hodeida and its seaport, in addition to another prisoners swap agreement.
