Army’s demining teams on Friday pulled out hundreds of mines and explosive devices planted by Houthi militia at roads connecting between Sana’a and Hodeidah provinces.
The teams have started today the demining process in order to secure the movements of citizens from and to the port city of Hodeidah ahead of Houthi militiamen withdrawal from the city and seaports as stipulated in the Sweden deal reached between the Yemeni government and Houthi militia.
Meanwhile, Houthi militia has continued to violate the UN-sponsored cease-fire agreement on Hodeidah since it came into effect on December 18.
The militia has committed 29 breaches over only the last 24 hours, according to the Arab coalition’s statement on Friday.
