Senior Houthi leader, scores militiamen killed in Taiz

Yemeni National Army killed a prominent commander in the ranks of Iran-backed Houthi militia along with a number of his escorts during clashes in the southwestern city of Taiz,  on Sunday.

The army launched fierce ground attack on the militia’s  positions and gatherings in the east of city, killing a number of rebels including the a leader known as Ahmed Ayed.

The offensive also wounded several others militiamen and destroyed combat vehicles belonging to them including ( BMB) vehicle.
