Army captures key mountains from rebels in Al-Jawf province
Yemeni army captured on Sunday strategic areas from Houthi militia in the north of Al-Jawf province.
Following a sudden attack, the army forces were able to liberate the strategic mountains range of ‘almotel’, and the heights of ‘Sheb al-austor’ and surrounding locations, in Khab Shaaf district, north of the province.
The offensive coincided heavy strikes by the coalition’s jets targeting reinforcements and supply lines of the militia.
Fighting and raids killed and injured Houthi rebels, and destroyed several combat vehicles belonging to them.
Army artillery also bombarded Houthi militia’s sites in the same front, destroying a number of military vehicles, and killing or wounding militants on boards.
