Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Abdullah al-Nakhee’ presided over meeting for the Human Resources (HR ) Department of the armed forces in the interim capital of Aden on Sunday.

Discussions focused on the problems and obstacles facing the HR body and ways to solve them.

The meeting also discussed applying a unified electronic fingerprint system for the armed forces affiliates.

Chief of Staff directed concerned authority to complete the work in  fourth Military regions and send teams for preparing database of army’s affiliates in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 6th and 7th Military Regions and comparing lists of officers and soldiers there with data in Finance Department before starting using the fingerprints.

His directives also included banning the child recruitment as per President Hadi’s orders.

He stressed on the importance of organizing lists and military IDs to end the reoccurring problems of double jobs and non-existence names.
