Nine elements in the Houthi militia including leaders were killed on Saturday as the army artillery shelled their positions in the west of Taiz province, southwest of the country.

The artillery shelling targeted a meeting for the militias in a farm in the area of Al-Rubaie, killing nine elements including field leaders and wounding others.

The army also shelled today’s noon reinforcements of Houthi rebels near the Al-Raud school in the same area, destroying one military patrol and killing or wounding militants on boards.

Meanwhile, the rebel militias tried to sneak into the army’s sites in Maqbanah district western Taiz , but the army repelled them back and inflicted them serious losses.

As for the east of Taiz, two militia elements were killed as they tried to infiltrate into the army’s positions near Al-Tashrefat military camp.
