Army forces achieved new progress on Monday in Sa’ada province, the stronghold of Iran-backed Houthi militia.

The commander of artillery battalion in Al-Tawheed Brigade said to September Net the national army managed  to liberate the international route linking between the city of Sa’ada and the districts of Ketaf and AL-Buqa after fierce battles against Houthi militia.

Multiple causalities have been accounted among militias ranks, both in personnel and supplies, Colonel Waleed Alwaseli added.

Several Houthi militiamen were also captured in the hands of the army in addition to arms depot contained multiple weapons was found near the liberated road, confirmed Alwaseli.
