Coalition forces said an Iranian-made Houthi drone was intercepted and destroyed over the southern Saudi city of Abha on Wednesday.

The coalition’s spokesman Col. Turki al-Maliki, , confirmed the Saudi Royal Air Defense spotted Wednesday an unidentified object heading towards civilian areas in the city of Abha.

In a statement published on Saudi press Agency ( SPA) Col.  Al-Maliki stated that after the Coalition Joint Forces’ experts examined the wreckage of the object, it was found to be a Houthi militia’s hostile drone bearing an Iranian characteristics and specifications.
