Yemeni National army managed to capture the strategic mountainous range of “Al-Kahr” in the northern province of Sa’ada.

The victory came during a successful offensive waged by the forces of the army’s 82nd Infantry Brigade against the putschist Houthi militia in Kitaf district on Sunday night.

The attack resulted also in liberating the Asphalt road that leads to the seized ranges near Kitaf center.

A number of Houthi militiamen were captured, others were killed and wounded, and several of their combat vehicles were destroyed in the operation.

The Arab coalition fighter jets backed the army troops on the ground during the fighting, bombing positions and reinforcements belonging the coupists in the same area.
