Yemeni army seized on Tuesday strategic positions from the control of Houthi coup militias in Sa’ada province, north of the country.
Commander of al-Asefa Brigade reported to September Net that the brigade forces took over a hilltop site (Mahbas alyamania) and several positions surrounding it.
“The liberated locations, located in the Al-Marzook front northwestern Sa’ada, overlook the sub-road that takes to Harad in Hajja,” brigadier Mohammed al-Ajabi explained.
He said the army killed and wounded a number of Houthi militiamen and forced the rest militants to flee battlefield.
“National Army is determined to drive the Iran-backed militia out of this strategic front, which connects the two provinces of Sa’ada and Hajja”.
