At least 40 elements in the Houthi coup militias were killed and wounded on Saturday in the west of Taiz province.

A military source said to September Net that fierce battles broke out today between the army forces and Houthi militias in al-Barh front of Maqbanah district.

“More than 40 Houthi rebels were killed and injured in addition to major losses in combat equipment”, added the source.

The rural areas in the west and southwest of Taiz witnessed in the past few weeks violent clashes between the army forces and Houthi militias, killing and wounding scores of Houthi militants and destroying a number of their combat vehicles.
