16 elements in the Iran-backed Houthi militia were killed on Thursday in an ambush carried out by the heroes of the National Army in Serwah Front, west of Marib province.

The army forces launched sudden attack on Houthi militants as they were trying to sneak into their positions in al-Makhdarah area in Serwah district.

16 Houthi militiamen including the commander who led the infiltration attempt the so-called Abu Ali al-Radi.

The army also recovered a number of communications devices belonging to the militia.

Arab Coalition fighter jets supported the army forces during the clashes, destroying the militia’s reinforcements coming to the area.
