130 Houthi rebels killed and injured in clashes in Al-Dhale province
At least 130 Houthi militia members have been killed and injured during clashes with the National Army in Yemen’s southern province of Al-Dhale.
The Army forces were able today, Monday, to capture the road linking the district of Damt in the north of Al-Dhale with Al-Nadera and Alsada districts in Ibb province.
The liberation came during a counterattack conducted by the Army forces against the positions and elements of the rebel Houthi militia.
The fighting left 30 Houthi militia killed including the field leader so-called Ali Mused Hida, and 20 more wounded, while several militia combat vehicles were destroyed.
The Yemeni National Army also thwarted an attempt by the rebel militia to attack sites south of Murais region in the province.15 Houthi rebels including commanders were killed and 10 others wounded, while the rest fled the battlefield.
Some 40 coup militia, among them the rebel leaders so-called “Abu Muslim Alkahlani” and “Hadi Alsiraj”, have been killed and more 15 militiamen were wounded.
Among the wounded was the militia supervisor of the warfront in Al-Aud, where the army was able to halt infiltration attempt by the militia, south of Qataba’ in Al-Dhale province.
National Army forces also foiled one more attempt by the militia toward Al-Nadira, inflicting the latter casualties and forced them to flee.
