At least 78 of Houthi rebels were killed and injured on Tuesday during clashes with National Army in various fronts in Al-Dhale province.

In the northern front of Murais, the National Army recaptured important positions from the militia including two key mountains.

The fighting left 18 militia members killed and more 10 wounded, while several of their combat vehicles were also destroyed.

In areas situated the neighboring provinces of Ibb and Al-Dhale, army troops launched a ground attack and managed to station on top of Al-Aud and Thodan Mounts, and its surroundings.

These mountains are strategically significant heights overlooking several districts in both province.

On the same context, the army forces hinder a militia’s infiltration attempt into military positions in Murais district north of Al-Dhale.
