The Joint Forces Command of the coalition to support legitimacy in Yemen carried out airstrikes operations on Thursday against a number of legitimate targets against the Houthi militia.

“Military and intelligence information has confirmed that these targets include bases, facilities, weapons stores and ammunition for the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia,” the coalition said in a statement published by the official SPA news agency.

“The attack of Houthi and terrorist militias backed by Iran on vital installations in the Kingdom constitutes a serious violation of international humanitarian law and its customary rules, which are considered war crimes,” the statement said.

The coalition statement pointed out that the coalition forces will not hesitate to follow up all terrorist elements throughout Yemen, and will reach all the sites from which terrorist attacks are launched.

It stressed the continuation of the operations of the coalition forces in accordance with international humanitarian law and its customary rules until these  military and legitimate objectives are neutralized.
