Army makes significant field progress against the militia in Sa’ada

The national army forces, backed by Arab coalition, achieved important ground advancements in the battle against the rebel Houthi militia in Sa’ada province on Tuesday.
The army forces have managed to take over new positions where the militia elements stationed in Al-Hashwa’ district, in Saada.
Backed by air support from Arab coalition Apaches, the army troops tightened the grip over and fully secured the Mountains of Samr, Al-Nahdin and Al-Theba, near the center of the district.
A number of Houthi militiamen were killed and injured during the fighting with the army forces.
The rebel militia has suffered major collapse in ranks that dozens of its elements fled and retreated the battlefield.
