80 Houthis killed, 35 captured & army making advance in Al-Dhale

The national army forces, backed by the popular resistance, have been making rapid significant military advancements against the Houthi rebel militia in the southern province of Al-Dhale. More than ten villages and several key positions have been taken over by the army forces on Wednesday in the north of Qataba district.

While in Moris, north of Al-Dhale, the national army heroes have managed to recapture the positions of Samih and Al-Dweir, and opened Moris-Qataba linked mountainous road after driving out the militia elements.

The army captured 35, including a sniper, killed 80 and dozens wounded from the Houthi militiamen during the ongoing battles.

A number of militia combat vehicles and equipment, quantity of weapons and ammunition were also recovered by the army troops during their advancements.

At the same time, the army forces have started a large-scale clearing operations to secure and comb all fresh liberated areas and villages from the Houthi militia.

In addition to the removal of hundreds of mines and improvised explosive devices planted by the militiamen before fleeing and retreating.

These great victories are within the massive military operations kicked off by the national army and popular resistance in Al-Dhale, aiming at fully liberating the remaining territories from the Houthi rebel militia in the province.
