The national army and the popular resistance forces have meanwhile managed to liberate a number of areas, defeat elements of the Houthi militia, including north and west of Qataba in the southern province of Al-Dhale.

The forces of the national army and the resistance launched early on Wednesday a large-scale military operation in the western and northern areas of Qataba district with the aim of disposing the elements of the Houthi militia.

In the meantime, the army has been able to liberate the areas of Al-Wa’al mountain and Qardha village north of the Qataba district.

The fighting continues until the moment of writing the news as the advance of the national army forces towards Al-Alla camp and Hamor areas west of the same district.

The Iranian-backed militia has suffered dozens of deaths and injuries, as well as large collapses in its ranks and the flight of dozens of fighters from the battlefield under the fire of the national army.
