A large-scale military operation on the western and northern sides of Qataba district north of Al-Dhale province was launched by the army early on Wednesday, to dispose of the remnants of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia.

National army and popular resistance forces are clashing the fiercest battles with militias north and west of Qatuba.

The battles are concentrated in the meantime in the areas of Qardh, Hamor, Al-Ellah camp  and AlHajar and Al-Shakhab, where the national army forces are seeking to free them from Houthi elements.

The Houthi militia are collapsing amid heavy losses in equipment and lives in the fighting.
