Army national forces on Saturday,  opposed an attack by Houthi militia towards the district of Hays, south of the province of Hodeidah in the southwest of the country.

A group of militia elements attempted to advance towards liberated locations, north of the same district.

The army was able to force the militia to retreat, after killing and injuring in its ranks.

In the meantime, the army monitored the movements of reinforcements belonging to the -Houthi militia in Al-Tahita district south of the province.

On the outskirts of Al-Jabalia area of  Al-Tahita district, the militia mobilized groups of its elements, equipped with a number of combat vehicles.
