The national army forces on Sunday thwarted an infiltration attempt by the Houthi militia in Al-Dhale province.

The Army had deceived the elements of Houthi, while trying to infiltrate into Al-Zubayriat area at Al-Shakhib front in Qataba district north of the province.

During the operation, the national army forces captured a prominent Houthi leader named Ali Abdullah Al-Anzi, nicknamed Abu Bakeel, along with seven of his companions.

The confrontations resulted in the killing and wounding of a number of Houthi elements, carrying out the failed infiltration.
